considering using alegroCart

Post by ianhaney » Sun May 27, 2012 1:34 am

Hi

I am currently using oscommerce and was just considering moving over to alegroCart, how easy is it to use and is it open source like oscommerce so I can edit and add to pages and are there add ons available for alegroCart and can the colour themes be changed easily

I see it uses PayPal which is good as use it on my store at the moment, does it have a bank transfer add on

Any one who can answer the questions would be really appreciated

Thank you

Ian

Hi Ian,

Welcome to our forum.
AC is open source and free, i.e you can modify it according to your needs, no restrictions.
PayPay is supported in 1.2.7, to use bank transfer you have to checkout our SVN. You can find HOWTO in our FAQ.
Download it, test it on your localhost.

Currently we do not have migration tool.
If you could send me the exported sql file of your current shop I could check it, how to import the data.
