Hi all!
I uses V1.2.6 and checking chrome 11,FF4 browser is break page after add this language !

I am not sure where the problem is.
Does it still display fine in English. If so, check each module area for size and then switch back to French and see where the difference is. Something is stretching a div which moves the modules down the page from lack of room to display.

Reupload the directories, so the french next to the the english and check the french language settings in the admin. Sort order must be 2!

I just did a test new install and added the French language pack. I can't reproduce your error.
Try replacing the catalog directory form your 1.2.6 download.
If that does not correct, post page source in French so we can check it for errors.
