Hiding Categories

Post by Bluesplayer » Tue Feb 12, 2013 3:27 am

It would be handy if you could hide categories in the main menu. I want to keep this menu as short as possible which will help make the site more user friendly. For instance I want to keep the 'Latest' menu selection but link to it from another part of my site but not show it on the menu itself.

That is just brilliant :D .

You will soon have the best shopping cart on the market  .

I can see another part of admin that would benefit from this - /?controller=category. Plenty of room there to add another section with an indicator displaying whether or not the category is hidden.

Here is the complete package for testing.
Added new column Hidden.
Added changing visibility with one click.
Added the same behaviour to Information as well.

That is outstanding :D .

This is a really excellent mod and one that I will use for all sorts of reasons.

Thanks again.
