would there be a fairly simple way to add a user and limit their access to select specified products that I (as primary admin) select.

It does appear to allow me to permit a user to access or modify catalog/products ... (but , this includes ALL products)

I was hoping to only allow them to access/modify a SPECFIC PRODUCT/s from the product list, that I would designate.

Whereby I would set the user up ... just as it is ... but with the ability for me to select actual products they are permitted to edit . (to be displayed/toggled in user/usergroup admin, so I could select from the individual products they would be allowed to access/modify.

At this point, no, there is not.
That will be an addition after the next version 1.2.

I will be adding customer user groups, a product cost field, and percentage pricing by product group/by customer group.
That should be in version 1.4.

This will be an addition after the current version is released.

What functions does every one want to include for Customer user / user groups. ??

- add, delete, modify customer groups
- select customer group the customer belongs to
- possibility to send mail/newsletter to customer groups
- set quantity discount in groups
- set dated special in groups
- sales report in groups
