It would be great if you could turn off the rss button
How do you move objects such as the shopping cart module from one sit of the page to the other?
How do you turn of modules like customer login?

In FAQ, look for Template information. It will give a lot of instructions for what you want to do.
The best way to disable the RSS feed is to create a new default template in admin->template manager.
You have to set all default modules in the new default. You would just leave RSS out of the header.
Things like the shopping cart would just be moved to which ever side you want.
Customer login is not a module, but a requirement for a customer registration. It cannot be turned off.
In the next version, there will probably be a guest checkout that will not require the customer to register, so no login required.
If you have a server program like XAMPP installed on your pc, just play with the template manager. You can't hurt anything and will learn to be more comfortable with it.
Also, the next version should be out in the next week.

Sorry, I gave you a bum steer on the RSS.
It is hard coded in the header module.
We'll make it selectable in admin.
