AlegroCart

AC 1.2.8 set up and working (brilliantly too!) under domain name "YYYY.com" on Linux server.

I would like to use my existing domain name by changing the name server pointers to my new host where "YYYY.com" is currently the domain name.

Can I please ask which files in AlegroCart need to have the new domian name changed in? I have found "public_html/config.php" contains the existing domain name (YYYY.com) but are there any others that need to have the domain name changed in? Does the database or any other config files contain the domain name reference?

Should be only the config that needs the new domain name.

FYI.
Please note, that in the config.php the DIR_BASE should be also changed.
You can get this information e.g. from your cpanel.

Thanks Leo, I'll change that as well....as son as I can access my cpanel. Seems the change to the domain name has stopped me accessing the directory listing but it could be something I'm doing wrong at the server.

Hi Leo. I noticed that the DIR_BASE shows my user name and not the website domain name so I'll leave it at that as it seems to be working just fine. "define('DIR_BASE', '/home/MyHostingUserNameHere/public_html/');"

This is a normal DIR_BASE, don't change it.
