Checkout isn't working

Nothing happens when I click the checkout button.

I modified the cart.tpl, but still nothing happens when I substitute the original cart.tpl for my changed version.

I just tried it. I added a product to cart, and either in the cart or from the Checkout button at the top, I am redirected to the login page where I can either create an account to guest checkout. Do you get there?

Yes, sorry. I should have mentioned that nothing happens when you click checkout after you are logged in.

After you are logged in, when you click checkout, you would be directed to shipping page, and then once shipping is selected, you go to payment page, and then on to checkout confirm.
It appears you must not have any shipping methods set up.

You need at least on method set up in admin from the available choices in extensions. Same with payment.

I enabled and configured Zone. I enabled and configured Paypal. Still, nothing happens when I click checkout.

Is your customer's zone in the shipping zone?

And you have an active shipping zone that covers the US.

Shipping zone United States all zones is enabled. I configured it to have free freight for orders over $25.00.
