how to display special offer correct price

Hi to all, running 1.2.7

In my template i've the column for the special price products

My issue is that the price displayed is the "not" discounted one. If normal is 100 it displays me 100 as every other product

My wish would be to show in special price module something like: normal 100, special:50 percent: -50%

I think this is what customer whants to know immediatly and not only after clicking on chart to view summary and details !!

is it possible ???

In the admin/product/specials tab is where you set the special price.
When it is set, any item with special price will show the regular price with a line through it and the special price highlighted below as per the demo on this site.
If you are using quantity discounts, the only place that is shown is in the product page or a module that is in single column display like category. If you set category to single column, the discount a each level will be displayed.
