More than 3 product options?

I can create many different product options without a problem.
However it seems only 3 product options max are available for each product.

Is there a way to allow products to have more than 3 options?

At this time, no there is not.
We have added onhand quantity and several other items for each product/option combination for the next version. D
Due the exponential growth as options are added, we decided to only include 3 levels of options.

It is possible but hard job. I am not sure that is worth.
When Brent wrote this mod, we have discussed the pros and contras. Without going into the details (and I don't know what are you selling), I give you an example.
So, let say you have 100 products without options, so you have 100 product to be displayed in the catalog = there are 100 bookmarkable products = there are 100 products that could be indexed by e.g. google. If you reduce the number of the products with using options, you reduce all.
Anyway, having more than 3 product options results large database and you will have overcrowded layout in admin.
Summa summarum, I suggest you to reduce the number of products option.
