Fresh install but cannot access admin

Hello i have just installed Alegro Cart to my server and i cannot access the admin panel, i go to sales.mydomain.com/admin and enter my credentials, then it just redirects me to the sales.mydomain.com with no admin panel, How do i get into the admmin panel if this is not the way???? my domain for this cart is http://sales.thesprocketworld.com hope this helps, i need this shop working in the next few days. I even tried a reinstall of the entire shop and nothing. Help Please...
